  4. CAUSES are from a shrunken, airless state of a lung. This may be from the
  5. failure of a lung to expand at birth, sticky secretions causing obstruction
  6. of airway or foreign materials, lymph nodes or tumors pressing on the airway
  7. TREATMENT. For newborn, suction of windpipe, oxygen, stimulate breathing.
  8. .Others, eliminate cause, stimulate coughing, suctioning and antibiotics.
